FAQ
What kind of cabinets do you have experience installing?
We install both pre-assembled cabinets and RTA (Ready to Assemble), flat packed cabinets. They come in various sizes and styles. However, the common cabinet styles we work with are:
- Shaker and Slim Shaker style cabinets
- Raised Panel or Traditional style cabinets
- European or frameless style cabinets
- Semi Custom Cabinets
What types of windows have you installed?
- Single Hung Windows: fixed top sash and a movable bottom sash that slides vertically.
- Double Hung Windows: Similar to single-hung windows, but both the top and bottom sashes are movable
- Casement Windows: hinged on one side and swing outward
- Slider Windows: have sashes that slide horizontally, with easier operation.
- Picture Windows: fixed windows that do not open or close.
What types of products do you have experience installing?
- Interior and exterior doors
- Windows
- Flooring (LVP)
- Cabinets and vanities
- Appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwashers, OTR microwaves, washer and dryer units)
What areas do you typically install in?
Installogy Pros currently has a strong foothold in Long Island, New York and Southern Texas. We also have traveling teams that have completed projects in Detroit, Colorado, and Tennessee.
Do you have set pricing and an installation program in place?
Installogy Pros has set install pricing we can quote after measuring the space and finalizing the design. If a design is needed we can also provide it in house. We have vendors we quote directly and others that set the pricing and we review and approve pricing based on parts listed on the sales order and design. We are flexible either way and are happy to work with our vendors if they already have established pricing
What is the difference between a prefab cabinet and custom cabinet?
Prefab cabinets usually require assembly or are assembled, made, and
pre-finished at a factory. They come in standard sizes and colors and are usually not solid wood depending on the manufacturer. Custom cabinets are made to the specifications of the measurements and needs of the space and the customer. Solid wood is a more common material. Carpenters have more creative freedom with custom cabinets since cabinet sizes are not as restricted.
What types of properties do you install for?
We work on a range of properties from residential remodels, to new construction, commercial spaces, and multifamily units.
